Review

The pack of White Winter Chai from Art of Tea opened to the aroma of a lovely spice mix. I used this tasting to also try out my new tea infuser from Daiso. More on that below*

I followed the recommended brewing method. I let the tea leaves infuse for 3 minutes. The liquor was a golden yellow. The prominent flavors were that of cardamom and clove with the sweetness from fennel.

With each slurp, I was conscious of a new spice. There is harmony in the flavors which makes this blend very likable. The white tea base adds a tone of subtlety to the tea.

The past few weeks have been flu infested and this chai came to my rescue. A very relaxing tea blend that I enjoyed.

Suggestion: Give the pack of tea a light shake to ensure that you are in for a wholesome tasting. The tea blend has a lot of large pieces of leaves and the other ingredients.

*The size of the infuser ring is larger than the one I was using previously from Ikea. There still were the stray tea leaves escaping into the teacup. I think it has a lot to do with this particular design because once the infuser snaps shut tea leaves caught in between would escape. But anyhow an improvement I would say.
